Submissions for this journal are “accepted by invitation only.” I’m not sure why that is when the editors claim to have established the journal “as an open forum and a platform for dialogue on specific debates within Luso-Hispanic Studies.” Does anyone know why this journal functions in this way?

They had my article under revision for well over a year and when I inquired they emailed me a one-paragraph-peer-reviewed written 30 minutes earlier… as the properties of the document revealed.

Did they published articles mostly from Vanderbilt “origins”?
For some time there was an online submission form. However, I submitted work two times, and it was never acknowledged in any way whatsoever.
